Experiment 1
Devices: Bike, Bri1, Endomondo, Holux
Time: 10/7/2011, 1120~1150
Place: Fengyuan district of Taichung city
Environment: outdoor, clear sky
Travel Distance:
Bri1:5.9Km
Endomondo: 5.58Km
Holux: 5.57Km
Finding: the traveling distance of Bri is slightly higher than GPS devices. The speed displayed on Bri was constantly one km more than other two devices

Experiment 2:
Devices: car, Endomondo, Holux
Time: 10/7/2011, 1300~1540
Place: Taichung city
Environment: urban area
Travel distance:
Car: 35.9km
Endomondo: 36.69km
Holux: 36.68Km
Finding: the traveling distance of GPS devices is slightly higher than car’s

Experiment 3
Devices: Bike, Bri1, Endomondo, Holux
Time: 10/8/2011, 0710~0832
Place: Mountain area in Fengyuan district of Taichung city
Environment: outdoor, clear sky
Travel Distance:
Bri1: 19.5Km
Endomondo: 18.18Km
Holux: 18.3Km
Finding: same as at Test 1, the traveling distance of Bri is slightly higher than GPS devices. The speed displayed on Bri was constantly one km more than other two devices

Figure 1 shows the locus, speed, and attitude recorded by Holux GPS data logger for test 3. We can see that this is at mountain area; the attitude variance is about 400 meters.

Experiment 4:
Devices: car, Endomondo, Holux
Time: 10/8/2011, 1900~1930
Place: Taichung city
Environment: urban area
Travel distance:
Car: 21.3km
Endomondo: 22.29km
Holux: 21.5Km
Finding:  same as test 2, the traveling distance of GPS devices is slightly higher than car’s. But the distance record of Holux is almost same as of car.

Figure 2 shows the locus, speed, and attitude recorded by Holux GPS data logger for test 4. We can see that this is at urban area; the average speed is about 80 km/hr.

Experiment 5
Devices: Bike, Bri1, Endomondo, Holux
Time: 10/9/2011, 0710~0835
Place: Mountain area in Fengyuan district of Taichung city
Environment: outdoor, clear sky
Travel Distance:
Bri1: 19.11Km
Endomondo: 17.75Km
Holux: 18.02Km
Finding: same as at Test 1 and 3, the traveling distance of Bri is slightly higher than GPS devices. The speed displayed on Bri was constantly one km more than other two devices

Figure 3 shows the locus, speed, and attitude recorded by Holux GPS data logger for test 5. We can see that this is at mountain area; the attitude variance is about 400 meters.

Conclusions:
Taking car as reference, GPS data logger is slightly faster than car, the difference is about 5%. And the bike meter is slightly higher than GPS data logger, the difference is about 5-7%.
Therefore, the relationship between these three devices is: Bike meter > GPS data logger > Car. For reference purpose, this error is margin.
